Be careful asking your elevator vendor this question. They'll tell you something with only THEIR interests in mind. This is one of several reasons to involve Southern Elevator Consulting. Depending on the project size, scope of work, & equipment lead times, it shouldn't take more than 1 week per floor + 3 to 4 weeks of machine room work per elevator. Again, all depends on project size, location of equipment, what's being installed, and most importantly...who's doing the work!

Another question to exercise caution when asking your elevator vendor...  Whether you use Southern Elevator Consulting or don't, ALWAYS get 2 or 3 quotes to compare.
